Puente Sisto sobre el Tiber Roma 2010

En Roma descubrí paseando del Puente Sisto, camino al Trastevere.

Uno de los puentes peatonales que cruzan el Tevere, hermoso y muy antiguo. Data de la Roma Antigua, y se llamaba en sus orígenes “Pons Aurelis”.

Fue el Papa Sisto IV quien ordenó su construcción. Fue reconstruido en el 1475.

Sobrio y maravilloso.

Roma renancentista , romana y barroca a la vez y escenario de novelas de Dan Brown . Intriga y espiritualidad , no exenta del caracter latino . Bonito puente papal y bello reflejo en el agua !! .
